World Book and Copyright Day is an annual event orgainised by UNESCO which is celebrated every year on 23rd April to promote Reading, publishing and Copyright of Books. Since this year ,it was election in Diu on 23rd April, so it was celebrated on 24th April in K.V.Diu. Mr. D.K.Shrivastava ,Librarian, addressed the students and told them the importance of the Day. The main aim of the day is to promote Reading habit among children and youngster.

Book Gift Day Celebration
Book gift day was celebrated on 10th April 2019 in K.V. Diu . A total of 435 books were gifted by 85 students to other 85 students during the celebration. On this occasion Mr. D. K. Shrivastava, Librarian, expressed his views before students about the reuse of books and how it is important to save the environment. At last, Shri . Ishwar Singh , Principal, addressed the students regarding the importance of reuse of books and motivated students to gift more books in coming years. A slogen was also given.. "Save Paper, Save Trees".
